Our Studios

Our interdisciplinary studios in Denver and Fort Worth are focused on design at all scales and across sectors. Located in historic structures connected to urban green spaces, our offices blend old and new, are punctuated with art and natural light and integrate the workplace with nature and the surrounding urban landscape.

Our practice is differentiated by the quality of our people, the depth of our relationships and the way we do our work. We collaborate closely across studios and with our clients throughout the country to create inspiring and enduring places that transform communities.

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

We recognize the importance of education and engagement in enacting change in our industry. Our policies and practices focus on attracting, supporting and promoting a diverse community of designers. We are committed to collaborating with academic partners, community organizations and industry peers to provide equitable opportunity and access for all people to enter, and succeed in, the profession.

Tryba Architects established a Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) scholarship at CU Denver's College of Architecture and Planning, committing $25,000 to the fund and challenging the top 25 Denver architecture firms to contribute while also creating a paid internship opportunity for award recipients. Our firm is also a proud supporter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA). Several of our staff hold leadership roles within the organization and were instrumental in founding the Colorado chapter.

Sustainability

Tryba Architects’ practice is rooted in the belief that enduring design is inherently sustainable as it builds on the past to meet the demands of the present while being mindful of our responsibility to the future. Our history of adaptive reuse and preservation is a fundamental pillar of our sustainability strategy and recognizes the environmental, cultural and economic value inherent in our existing built fabric.

Our work is driven by a commitment to collaborating with our clients and aligning sustainability goals at the beginning of each project. As signatories of the AIA 2030 Commitment, we empower staff to advance sustainable design within our office and across our projects, and we are dedicated to supporting environmental policy change.

Giving Back

Our team supports organizations and charities in Texas and Colorado that truly make a difference in our communities and for our planet. Tryba hosts an annual silent auction with all proceeds going directly to a local non-profit selected by staff. Since we began hosting the event in 2015, our team has raised over $25,000 in support of The Greenway Foundation, Colorado Open Lands and the Denver Mountain Parks Foundation. We also arrange periodic volunteer events for our staff, which encourage team building and camaraderie in support of a good cause.

Members of our team serve on boards and committees for various civic and community organizations. Our culture of learning and mentorship also extends beyond our office, with staff serving on design juries for architecture and design programs at local universities and lecturing at programs around the country.
