We are seeking highly motivated Architects with experience in commercial, commercial interiors, multi-family residential, hospitality, and mixed-use design. Ideal candidates will possess an inquisitive mind as well as strong working knowledge of REVIT, Enscape, BIM360, Navisworks, and Adobe Suite.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proven ability to consistently and effectively manage scope, schedule, budget, and resourcing
  • Leading and guiding construction document production and oversight for complex and technical projects. Responsibilities include all phases of design documentation through construction administration, project management and client contact
  • Knowledge and or ability to utilize Revit Design documentation and 3D modeling for all phases of design from client presentations to construction documents, through construction administration
  • Project design oversight/implementation on a variety of scales
  • Conduct client meetings to understand their preferences, requirements, and expectations.
  • Experience creating and maintaining strong, productive team relationships.
  • Strong design creativity and technical proficiency.
  • Effectively demonstrate technical detailing and problem-solving skills on complex project types
  • Be a technical resource for project teams
  • Proven ability to successfully lead, manage, direct and balance multiple projects
  • Proven experience creating and maintaining strong, productive client relationships
  • Able to deal effectively with conflict – clients, staff, consultants, and contractors
  • Manage and communication support between client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, AV, civil consultants etc. Provide Consultant coordination (onboarding, contracts, design coordination)
  • Maintain and coordinate project manual and specifications
  • Conduct and document site visits, process submittals, substitution requests, and RFI’s during construction
  • Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project
  • Mentor and coach of junior staff
  • Able to support and embrace the entrepreneurial, experimental design style, and high performing organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors of Architecture or Masters of Architecture (accredited degree program required).
  • Architectural license required.
  • 10+ years of related experience, including demonstrated success as a project architect/manager on range of project types
  • Highly proficient in REVIT/BIM Production
  • Highly proficient in REVIT/BIM Production
  • Full knowledge of architectural principles/practices
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures
  • Experience with the entire project lifecycle and design process through post-occupancy
  • Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and management skills that include leadership, organization and client relationship management skills
  • Well-rounded, strategic thinker with an integrated approach to design, management, and technical project resolution
  • Multi-tasking/time management skills: the ability to work on several projects at the same time in either a management or production role.
  • Strong technical project detailing and documentation skills.
  • A knowledge of architectural practice and construction technology, including but not limited to design, documentation, detailing, building materials, and building codes
  • Excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skills and ability to collaborate directly with partners of the firm during all phases of design and drawing production
  • Familiarity with sustainable design concepts
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to learning and investment in own professional development
  • A positive attitude and strong desire to work within a team
  • Highly motivated self-starter
