Supporting CU Denver’s College of Architecture and Planning JEDI Scholarship Fund

Tryba Architects is a proud supporter of CU Denver’s College of Architecture and Planning (CAP) JEDI Fund, aiming to advance justice, equity, diversity and inclusion in the architecture and design community. The firm has committed $25,000 to the Fund and has challenged other Denver architecture firms to contribute.

“We acknowledge the importance of education and engagement in enacting change in our industry, and we support the CAP JEDI Fund’s goal of building a pathway for all students into the profession. We are committed to providing internships and collaborating with academic partners, community organizations and industry peers to provide equitable opportunity and access for all students to succeed,” shared David Tryba, FAIA, CU alumnus and CAP Advisory Board Chair.

Guided by the CAP JEDI Statement and work of the JEDI Council, the College of Architecture and Planning is undertaking action to evolve justice and equity within the college and their allied practices, creating a culture of belonging and participation among faculty, staff and students. The CAP JEDI Fund provides support for the JEDI initiatives in the College of Architecture and Planning at CU Denver. Support comes in the form of scholarships, student programs, student engagement, visiting faculty and more.
