Tryba Architects celebrates promotion of five new Senior Associates

Tryba Architects is pleased to congratulate our newly promoted Senior Associates. These promotions recognize those who have accomplished a significant body of work at Tryba, have demonstrated a commitment to learning and an ability to manage projects and represent the firm internally and externally through leadership in community and industry organizations.

Matt Dungan, AIA
Senior Associate, Project Architect 

Since joining the firm in 2019, Matt Dungan, AIA has been leading efforts on several projects including a large mixed-use development in RiNo and Castle Rock and boutique office buildings in RiNo and North Capitol Hill, while continuing to expand Tryba’s local and national community ties. An accomplished architect and project manager, Matt ensures that expectations of quality, schedule and budget are aligned throughout the design process. He is passionate about designing and crafting spaces that connect people to history, cities and the environment.

Jeff Poorten, AIA 
Senior Associate, Project Architect 

Jeff Poorten, AIA joined the firm over 10 years ago and has successfully designed and delivered a significant body of work with an equal focus on and aptitude for project administration, documentation and design. His experience spans a range of public and private projects, with an emphasis on adaptive reuse and complex restorations. Throughout his career at Tryba, Jeff has been an invaluable member of the design team for many of the firm’s significant projects, including Denver Botanic Gardens, History Colorado Center, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center and 21 Fitzsimons retail.

Sarah Little
Senior Associate, Environmental Graphic Designer

Sarah Little, Environmental Graphic Designer joined the firm in 2014 and has successfully managed a range of experiential graphic design projects from concept through installation. She specializes in thoughtful, highly crafted design that reflects a thorough understanding of the details that contribute to great placemaking. Sarah has created architecturally integrated signage, wayfinding and art programs and developed brand strategy and visual identity for a range of clients and projects including Denver Rock Drill, One Canal, Fox Park, Parc Mosaic Apartment Homes and Aimco Headquarters.

Megan Burke, AIA
Senior Associate, Project Architect  

Since joining the firm in 2015, Megan Burke, AIA has successfully completed a wide variety of projects, from residential renovations to large, mixed-use developments. Megan’s expertise in design and construction technologies allows her to translate well-crafted design concepts into reality. She has worked on some of the firm’s most significant projects, including the new Parc Mosaic Apartment Homes in Boulder.

Todd Britton
Senior Associate, Model Builder

Todd Britton, Model Builder brings decades of service to the architectural profession and the creation of the built environment. Since joining the firm in 2015, Todd’s remarkable talent in model building and carpentry have been instrumental in our design studio. He has been involved in the creation of numerous local landmarks including the Colorado Center Master Plan, Google Boulder Campus, Fitzsimons Master Plan and Fox Park Master Plan.
