Tryba Architects Welcomes New Senior Architect

Tryba Architects announces the addition of Matt Dungan, AIA, senior architect and project manager, to the 65-person architecture and design firm. Matt is an accomplished architect who will be leading efforts on several projects including a large mixed-use development in RiNo, boutique office buildings in RiNo and North Capitol Hill, while continuing to expand Tryba’s deep community ties and involvement, both locally and nationally.

“We are very fortunate to have Matt on board. His focus on designing and crafting spaces that connect people, to history, the environment and cities, and his background in commercial mixed use, hospitality, office and civic projects parallel very appropriately with Tryba’s mission to strive for sustainable urbanism,” said David Tryba, FAIA and founding principal.

Matt’s portfolio is dense with impressive work examples, including the upcoming One Platte in Denver, Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in California, and Austin’s Domain NORTHSIDE and Four Seasons Hotel. Previously he was a lead commercial Associate at Dick Clark + Associates in downtown Austin where his work ranged from urban mixed use, affordable housing, hospitality and high end residential, to numerous restaurants, bars, breweries, creative office and retail spaces.

Matt graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, is an active member of the local Urban Land Institute – Colorado and enjoys exploring the great outdoors.
