As Master Design Architect for Aimco’s urban and suburban multi-family properties, we work with the client to reposition assets throughout the country. Headquartered in Denver, Aimco (AIV) is a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) with properties in the largest urban markets in the nation, owning properties in 24 states and the District of Columbia.
Our focus enhances the quality, efficiency and economic value of Aimco’s properties through redevelopment of the exterior, interior design and environmental graphics. We engage with local architects and manage peer review of drawings and plans to ensure the client’s vision is exceeded.
The Park Towne Place historic facade may be on the National Register for Historic Places, but the interiors are thoroughly modern. Upgraded and remodeled apartments include top of the line finishes, access to the pool and cabanas, a rotating public art program and a 20,000 square-foot underground retail center.
The Bank Lofts afforded a unique opportunity for the client to test eight individual unit interior finish packages while providing additional revenue generating units in a historic building. All eight units were designed with the intent to apply the knowledge gained across a nationwide portfolio of apartment homes.
The Preserve at Marin sat vacant for several years prior to purchase by Aimco in 2010. Renovations began with upgrades to the structural frame and were carried through to luxury unit interiors and amenities. The end result is a totally rebranded, top-of-the-market community with unparalleled views on a hillside on the Tiburon Peninsula.
