Tryba has partnered with Aimco to create a vibrant mixed-use Campus Center at the heart of the world-class Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. The Campus Center includes new and redeveloped residential and retail, and The Faculty Club and Hotel—all connected by dynamic public spaces and garden courtyards.

The Campus Center is part of a larger multi-phase strategic plan Tryba is working on with the Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority, the City of Aurora and the University of Colorado. The plan for the 125-acre Fitzsimons Innovation Community at the Anschutz Medical Campus unites the city’s diverse edges into an integrated urban neighborhood, complete with a diversity of living options, compelling retail and lifestyle amenities, trail networks, and a regional mobility hub.

The redevelopment of retail, amenities and courtyards at the 21 Fitzsimons apartment community has been completed and designs for the Phase 3A Apartment Homes and The Faculty Club and Hotel are currently being executed.

Phase 3A Apartment Homes

With construction slated to begin in 2018, the new 21 Fitzsimons Phase 3A Apartments will provide a diverse mix of residential unit types wrapped around an elevated garden and pool terrace.

The predominantly brick structure will provide a high-quality edge to the public realm. In combination with the full redevelopment of the existing retail on the adjacent site and The Faculty Club and Hotel on 21st Street, this community will provide a unique and dynamic new sequence of streets and activities on the Anschutz Medical Campus.

21 Fitzsimons Redevelopment

Completed in Fall 2017, Tryba’s experiential redesign of the first-floor leasing, retail and amenity spaces at the 21 Fitzsimons apartment community creates a unique sense of place and activation.

This new community hub reimagines the leasing office as a professionally curated art gallery connected to an engaging new community clubhouse with views of the renovated pool courtyard.

Meeting spaces and new retail connecting to the gallery ensures a constant hum of activity in the space while serving the surrounding innovation community.
