Park Towne Place Museum District Residences is once again a premier multi-family community in Philadelphia’s Center City.

Composed of four, 18-story towers arranged around a central courtyard, the mid-century property has earned a place on the National Register of Historic Places. Owner Aimco enlisted Tryba to revitalize the community for a new generation while maintaining its historical integrity.

In addition to preservation, Tryba’s work included creating new openings and circulation paths, restoring the building envelope and underground parking structure, and renovating and reconfiguring all 947 units. Additionally, Tryba reimagined the community’s amenities, including an 18,000 SF retail center and swim club.

Art Programs, Events and Galleries

Capitalizing on the community’s proximity to some of the country’s most prestigious cultural institutions, Tryba’s design team focused on creating connections to the Parkway Museums District through a multi-pronged community art program.

The Site and Tower lobbies feature permanent and rotating exhibits organized through partnership with a curated collections group.

A dedicated art studio provides space for residents to create or attend public exhibit previews, receptions and classes.

Resident hallways feature art reproductions reflecting collections of neighboring museums, each with its own exhibit story.
