Scope of Work

Lead Design Architect and Architect of Record

York Street Yards brings new vitality to Northeast Denver's Clayton Neighborhood. The creative mixed-use commercial district reuses the historic brick buildings of the former Denver Medical Depot, re-imagined for contemporary manufacturing and local small businesses and retailers.

The site's WWII-era brick buildings, originally designed by architect Temple Buell, have been transformed into modern, flexible spaces that can accommodate a variety of uses. Tryba's design re-introduced cohesiveness to the buildings - which had been altered piecemeal over the years - and sensitively opened the buildings to connect with the adjacent 39th Avenue Greenway.
