Tryba is leading the master planning, design, and implementation of a vibrant mixed-use innovation district at the heart of the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colorado. The 184-acre Fitzsimons Innovation Community reimagines the campus as a cohesive urban neighborhood, integrating life science and research facilities with diverse housing, engaging retail and lifestyle amenities, connected trail and stormwater systems, and a regional mobility hub.

At site’s core, the Campus Center brings together new and redeveloped lab office, residential, retail, and The Benson Hotel and Faculty Club—all connected by dynamic public open spaces. These efforts have been guided by a comprehensive, multi-phase strategic vision led by Tryba in partnership with the Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority, the City of Aurora, and the University of Colorado.
