Scope of Work

Lead Design Architect and Architect of Record, Interior Design, Branding and Experiential Design

Named after one of the American West’s great explorers, The Fremont Residences is a 253-unit apartment community that is both grounded in history and focused on the future. Situated on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus and Innovation Community in Colorado, The Fremont establishes a sense of continuity between the intrepid explorers of the 19th century and medical innovators of today.

The Fremont is made up of four distinct districts within the building. Each district presents a unique facade with quality materials and thoughtful detailing, adding to the richness of the street experience. The district names take inspiration from John Frémont’s botanical studies and collections from his expeditions

Open exchange between the districts is accomplished with shared amenities including covered and secured parking, fitness and gathering spaces, and the luxurious elevated courtyard and pool terrace. Experiential graphics mark the entrances to these amenity spaces, featuring stylized illustrated etchings rendered in metallic bronze appliques. The signage and experiential graphic program is a celebration of the spirit of the American West. The pioneering and innovative legacy of John Frémont is maintained while providing residents with a story-rich place to call home.

A community grounded in history and focused on the future

The warm bronze signage mirrors the warm interior palette, creating a feeling of welcome for residents and guests.

Designed to enhance the experience of home, community and the outdoors
