Scope of Work

Lead Design Architect and Architect of Record, Interior Design, Master Planning, Entitlements

The Wellington E. Webb Building links the civic structures to the south and the commercial developments to the north through careful application of scale, form, material and view corridors. The 12-story tower is connected by a four-story atrium, integrating the modern structure with the Mid-Century Modern Annex One. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Annex One—a rare local example of International Style architecture—was fully restored and retrofitted with more than 3,000 panes of thermo-glass windows. Public art is fully integrated throughout the structure. A grand staircase and atrium offer the visitor and 2,000 city employees light-filled, inspirational space appropriate for special events and informal gatherings.

An inclusive meeting place for City Building, this Design/Build project united 45 City agencies. It was completed in phases and delivered under budget and two months ahead of schedule.
